Cross Border Crime network

As the co-founder and driving force behind the Cross Border Crime network, I am proud to say that since 1999 we host one annual event and publish one book a year. It is a friendly and supportive community of academic researchers from all over Europe. My work as the main editor of these books has been rewarding, in terms of supporting many authors to bring their writing to a next level. I always find great joy in writing the introduction, which addresses the common theme, hopefully with a sense of humor. From the covers of the books, you will notice my passion for history.

Money laundring research

My research has always been data driven. I have been checking and deciphering many databases and I never “just agreed” with the official report of the institution. That painstaking work has yielded many detailed insights into the flows of financial transactions, and occasionally debunked an official statement. Right now, I am working on a book that addresses my knowledge of money laundring research.
